In my internship I worked in the position of Sales Representative. This internship went great for me. It was kind of different of what I expected, but in a positive way. I think this internship was perfect for me, really suited to my personality and to my imaginations. I liked not being at the office all day but visiting different schools and acting as a consultant for the tours. I liked advising other students about the tours as well as answering questions and meeting people from around the world.

What I really liked that the interns (so Including me) could support the team by providing feedback on quality issues with the tours. Also, I was able to support with new ideas or making decisions, they really included us in everything they did, which I found really positive!
I think this has been my best internship until now, where I could really participate, like a “real” employee, and the team was just great! They were all helpful and gave me challenging tasks.
Plus, I liked having responsibility.

Summarized I can say that this internship helped me achieving my goals of working abroad, dealing with another language and the work habits of another country. This opportunity fortified my wish to work abroad after my studies. First I had some doubts if it would be difficult, other work structure and language, but those doubts were gone after the first day of work.
The internship also gave me more self-confidence, independence-and I had the great opportunity of working abroad, and besides, in the city where I consider to work after my studies.
It was interesting to see how things work over there, compared with Germany.  

Furthermore, I got work experience which is really important for myself, my future and my university. It confirmed that I chose the right direction and that I definitely want to work in the field of tourism.

I’m not afraid any more of working abroad, quite the contrary. This opportunity helped me to take another big step in my life, and to see things different. I am more open to other things now and feel strengthened in what I do. I wouldn’t hesitate and do it again immediately!

Thank you for all your help and that I had this great opportunity! It couldn’t have been better! It was just perfect and I had the best time of my life!
