POLICIES (abbreviated)
INTERNeX program fees are ONLY for the support INTERNeX will provide you in securing your own placement and not for the placement itself.
This support includes our consultation process on what placement would best suit you on your profile, orientation to industry in Canada, and once you have secured a placement, orientation on how to best perform in your placement and on-going support in case something goes wrong. This is all described in the "INCLUSIONS" tab.
After a participant has been accepted, if they wish to cancel, INTERNeX will withhold a portion of fees as follows.
- After application: application fee
- After INTERNeX consultation arranged: application fee + 25% of remaining program fees.
- After INTERNeX consultation completed: application fee + 50% of remaining program fees.
- After arrival, safety, and program orientation: application fee + 75% of remaining program fees
- After local company-specific orientation: No refund
Please note that you should not plan to change your work length, once you have committed to a certain period of time because companies expect that you will fulfill your contract.
Also, note that in Canada, all employees are on probation for the first 3 months, and in this time you will not be given any reason to be fired, and they do not have to give you any warning. After 3 months it becomes a little more difficult however most hotels have a provision in their contracts that says candidates may be fired if the business is slow for the season, otherwise they have to give you a warning. Essentially, in most cases, if you under-perform or the business is slow you can be asked to leave anytime.
