Can i change my status to student by entering a University in Canada without going back home?

You will be considered a student when you arrive in Canada on this program so if you do qualify for a University you can extend your student visa (showing all the things required to be a student, as it is with this program, like $1000CAD per month in bank account etc...) and it takes about 12 - 16 weeks to process. During the processing time, if one visa does run out prior to receiving the extension you do not have to leave as you have implied status until you are refused, but you cannot work during this time.
