Each host organization is different, and in Canada there are a lot of smaller organizations that may not have a tight infrastructure. This is partially due to the way business is done here and our “corporate culture”. Go with the flow, and see if it really is too difficult to deal with. It could just turn out to be another thing you learn from during your placement.
