Hello, I wish you a merry Christmas (late..) and a happy new year 2010. Thanks for your work. Everything is doing well here in whistler. The work in the 7-eleven is nice and quite funny sometimes with the drunk people.. I often work by night. I can ride during the day. Whistler is a great resort, few days ago it has snowed almost 1m40 in 4 days! And now it's snowing a lot!!

My name is Johan.
I’ve worked at Panorama Mountain Village first as a room attendant and then I switched to Inventory Staff. Panorama is an amazing place, the nature and the mountains was mind blowing. Panorama was a smaller village and wherever I went people know my name. I made so many friends from all over the world. It’s truly been everything I hoped for, and an experience of a lifetime.

Whistler is probably the best place in the world if you love snow, people, party and basically having a lot of fun! This year we have gotten so much snow it's ridiculous! We have gotten a lot of epic powder runs and kicker sessions out in the backcountry. The mountains are your playground and there's so much to do and explore! And not only for the powder junkie, there are two really good parks if you fancy some jibbing and the groomed runs offers something for everyone. And Whistler village is awesome, the people are very friendly, there are plenty of nice places to eat or just grab a coffee, and of course insanely good nightlife with a lot of pubs and nightclubs! And out in Emerald our staff house is full of wonderful people, we are pretty much like a large family. It's people from all over the world and we're having so much fun!

You asked me to describe what living in Whistler is like, I think there's only one thing I can say. I'm living the dream, having the time of my life!
